Engineer Day - WTI - West Tennessee Initiative

Each October, the college hosts Engineers Day, a tradition going back more than 100 years. Undergraduate engineering classes are dismissed for one day to allow university students and faculty to spend time interacting with hundreds of potential UT engineering students from high schools and community colleges across the region.

Participants travel to UT to explore and learn about the various aspects of engineering through discussions, project demonstrations, competitions, and exhibits prepared by UT engineering student organizations and resource offices.

Registration information as well as the list of competitions, rules, and the day’s schedule will be available closer to the day. Please check back for more information. Join the Engineers Day mailing list to ensure you don’t miss any important information.

Contact the Engineering Academic and Student Affairs office at engineersday@utk.edu or 865-974-2454 for more information on Engineers Day.

This year’s Engineers Day will be held on Wednesday, October 25Register to participate in Engineers Day 2023.
