NOBCChE 2010 Awards/Scholarships Application

Undergraduate Scholarships
(deadline extended to 11/16)

Colgate Palmolive and Lubrizol have a continuing commitment to sponsor an Undergraduate Research Award Competition at the annual national meeting of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE). The competition encourages African-American students studying chemistry, polymer science, material science and chemical engineering to participate in undergraduate research programs.

Graduate Awards (deadline extended to 11/16)

NOBCChE annually recognizes outstanding minority graduate students by awarding deserving candidates who have made significant contributions to science and/or engineering research. All Fellowships applications should be submitted electronically, transcripts and letters of recommendation must be emailed to NOBCChE at the addresses indicated below. All email contacts should have the phrase "NOBCChE Fellowship" and the applicants surname in the subject line. The awards will be presented at the Annual Award Banquet at the Annual Meeting-NOBCChE 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia, March 29 - April 3, 2010.

Professional Awards

Honor your colleague, mentor, boss, or peer by nominating them for one of NOBCChE professional awards. NOBCChE recognizes black scientists, engineers, and professors who have made significant contributions to science and/or engineering research and teaching with awards for deserving candidates. We are seeking nominees for these awards by November 30, 2009. The awards are as follows and will be presented at the Award's Banquet during the NOBCChE conference.
