The Emma L. Bowen Foundation -- Extended Deadline: March 15, 2012


The Emma L. Bowen Foundation is currently recruiting high school students (rising juniors, seniors) and rising college freshman for several PAID summer internships at media (television, radio, cable) companies in the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; > Birmingham, AL; Boston, MA; Greenville, SC; Herndon, VA; Knoxville, TN; Lanham, MD; Lawrenceville, GA; New York, NY; Peoria, IL; Philadelphia, PA; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Sacramento, CA; Silver Spring, MD; St. Petersburg, FL; Syracuse, NY and Washington, DC. !

The internships start Summer 2006 and last throughout college. Eligible candidates must have at least a 3.0 GPA, plan to attend a 4-year college, and have an interest in the media. Selected candidates will be paid an hourly salary and earn scholarship dollars to help pay for college expenses.
